Promoting inclusive strategies for disadvantaged seniors

1. Senior Go Digital for Women

Date: 28th November 2019

Venue: Tiberio Cinema, Rimini

Short Description: The Senior Go Digital Project was presented by Sabrina Zanetti Coordinator of the Project for Acli, on the occasion of the public event: “WOMEN’S ENTERPRISES. Project aimed at supporting the equal presence of women in the economic life of the territory”, a project financed by the Emilia Romagna Region of which Acli Provinciali Rimini is Lead Partner.

The event took place on Friday 28 November 2019 at 17.00 at the Tiberio Cinema in Rimini. On the occasion, the result of a research carried out in the area was presented which analyzed the female insertion in the working sector and the conciliation practices.

Women, especially those who left the world of work, who have passed the age of 40 and have low-level job profiles, are a target that can hardly find a new job position.

The Senior Go Digital Platform is an opportunity for self-training in the digital world, by gaining new skills and obtaining the badges that prove them, to improve the curriculum and thus have more chances for job placement.

During the meeting, a slot of about 20 minutes was left to present the platform and invite the public to use it and to promote its use.
