IO5 - The seniors‘ digital support one stop centres: Implementation and evaluation.

Description

IO5 focus on the actual implementation, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the training planned for senior citizens. The up-skilling programme/ SUPPORT CENTRES has been implemented in 4 partner countries (Sweden, Italy, Bulgaria and Cyprus) using the organisations' offices, infrastructure, equipment and personnel, or at associate organisations equipped to offer ICT training.

INFO DAY

The consortium organised an Information Day to present the Seniors Go Digital project and the results achieved so far aiming to attract participants and present the expected outcomes for their attendance.

DIGITAL ACTIVE AGING PROGRAMME

The Digital Active Aging programme focuses on the actual implementation, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the training planned for senior citizens in the following partner countries:

In the case of Cyprus, Emphasys, organised their pilot testing from November 2019 until the end of February 2020 with a total of 18 participants and 4 trainers, on a weekly basis.

On the 25th of October, Emphasys Centre organised an INFO DAY event at the premises of Emphasys Centre. 16 potential participants had shown their interest by attending the event to learn more about the project and the upcoming training specifications.

Free Training Course for ICT for senior citizens 💻📱🖱

Association Euni Partners organized ICT training. It was directed to seniors who had the opportunity to gain basic knowledge and skills in the field of new technologies and to approach the communications of the modern world.

ACLI Provinciale Rimini hosted a pilot test for Seniors Go Digital Web platform to gather feedback about Web site usability and teaching material quality, the pilot test took place from November 2019 to January 2020.

ONE-STOP-SUPPORT-CENTRE

The successful completion of Digital Active Aging Programme led to the establishment of the ONE STOP SUPPORT CENTRE where seniors are to attend the digital programme, but also utilize the opportunities for mentoring, access to data, guidance and information.
